Cultural Life of Money and Finance: Workshop with Special Collections

In an age of digital finance, what can we learn from physical money about how cultures and societies have understood money, the purpose of finance, and its place in the world?

In this workshop, organised by the Cultural Life of Money and Finance project, we explore some of the items in the University of Leeds Special Collections coins and money collection. Dr Simon Glenn (Research Fellow, Ashmolean Museum), will introduce the collection.
